The High Commission of India in collaboration with Cyprus India Forum Nicosia organised the symbolic “Dandi March” “Salt Satyagraha - The Power of Nonviolent Action” to commemorate the 92nd Anniversary of Salt Satyagraha and it’s contribution in India’s freedom struggle. A five km. long symbolic “Dandi March” commenced from Strovolos Town Hall. High Commissioner of India, Ms. Madhumita Hazarika Bhagat highlighted the significance of AKAM and “Dandi March”. Minister of Energy and Commerce, Industry, Ms. Natasa Pilides was the Guest of Honour (13 March 2022).
