Advisory for Indian Nationals living in Cyprus
We have come across a Facebook post asking details of Indian nationals living in Cyprus who wish to go back to India. The post further reads that the details will be submitted to Indian Embassy.
High Commission of India categorically denies such fake claims on any private posts and urges Indian nationals living in Cyprus not to fall prey to such fraudulent and misguiding posts/agents. In case of any emergency, Indian nationals may directly approach the Indian High Commission.
High Commission of India, in Cyprus also warns these agents to avoid misguiding people in these testing times otherwise they will be subjected to legal action.
It is requested that the official and correct position on any issue relating to Government of India's guidelines on COVID-19 may only be ascertained from the High Commission of India, Nicosia official website.
