Regarding Signing of MoU between NJAI AND JSC

An MoU on training and capacity building for judicial officers was signed between  the National Judicial Academy of India (NJAI) and Judicial Services Commission of Maldives on 11 February 2020 in Bhopal.  The purpose of this MoU is to define the institutional framework for cooperation between India and Maldives for training and capacity building of 200 Maldivian judicial officials through exchange of resources, expertise, experience and conduct of joint research.

A delegation led by Attorney General of Maldives Mr. Ibrahim Riffath with Chairperson of Judicial Services Commission Ms. Hisaan Hussain is visiting Bhopal (India) for the purpose of signing of this MoU.   Yesterday, the delegation met with Attorney General of India Mr. K.K. Venugopal and Solicitor General of India Mr. Tushar Mehta to discuss capacity building and training opportunities for the Attorney General Office of Maldives.
