MNDF, India Army concludes Defense Staff Talks - Miadhu News, 9 Mar 2016
The first round of Defense Staff Talks, carried out between MNDF and Indian Army, has been concluded successfully.
The three day talks focused on defense cooperation between the two nations and the assistance provided by the Indian Army to develop human resource capabilities in the Maldivian defense.
MNDF Marine Co Commander Brigadier General Ali Zuhair, Coast Guard Commander Colonel Mohamed Ibrahim, Coast Guard Commander Colonel Mohamed Ibrahim, Department of International Defense Cooperation and Policy Principal Director Colonel Abdul Matheen Ahmed, Medical Service’s Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Ali Shahid Mohamed and Coast Guard Principle Director Lieutenant Colonel Mohamed Saleem took part in the discussions.
Indian Army’s Aviation Specialist Commander Revanth Kumar, Commander Nithin Dev, Foreign Cooperation Member of Delegation Defense Advisor Captain R.S. Sunil and two members of Indian High Commission.
The staff talks were headed by Vice Chief of Defense Force Brigadier General Ahmed Shahid and Indian Navy Commodore Jathinder Singh.
