SCHOLARSHIPS/TRAINING FOR MALDIVIAN NATIONALS
Capacity building and skills development is one of the key components of Government of India’s assistance program for Maldives. With this objective in mind, government of India offers the following scholarships/ training opportunities for Maldivians:

Overview of Education system in India

The Indian Education System
The structure of higher education consists of three years of education (after 12 years of school education) leading to a bachelor’s degree in arts and science and 4-5 years undergraduate study in professional fields like engineering and medicine.
This is followed by two years of study for a Master’s degree and at least three years or more for a Ph.D. degree.v
