Advisory for Indian Nationals in the Maldives

All Indian nationals presently in Maldives and those who wish to return to India as and when the general lockdown currently in force in India due to the COVID-19 outbreak is lifted, are requested to share following details at the earliest with the High Commission : 

1) Name

2) Passport number 

3) Contact mobile number in Maldives & email

4) Contact number of family in India 

5) Present Address in Maldives 

6) Address of Maldivian Employer & their contact details

Kindly note that that currently India is under lockdown and there are no domestic flights or flights from overseas.  No air charter from Maldives is currently being planned. Commercial airlines like GOAIR, AirIndia and INDIGO have announced their flight schedules beginning later this month/early next month.  

We suggest you keep a tab on developments in India. Also be conscious that till the time travel and quarantine restrictions are eased domestically, returning Indians might face hardships on their return. We are closely observing the situation and will keep the Indian community informed. Please follow announcements by High Commission on FB and Twitter as well.
