A Consular Camp was organized by the High Commission of India in partnership with the Indian Association in Jinja

A Consular Camp was organized by the High Commission of India in partnership with the Indian Association in Jinja.

The camp provided Consular Services including acceptance of passport application, police clearance certificates, attestation and OCI cards to the Indians living in Jinja, Iganga, Kamuli, Buwenge, Kaliro, Tororo, Mbale, Soroti and Kumi regions.   Around 50 applications were received during the Consular Camp.  These applications are being processed at the High Commission. 

This initiative of High commission of India was very well appreciated and acknowledged by the Indian diaspora living in Jinja and surrounding regions in Uganda are counted to approx. 2000 Indians.

This was the first time a Consular Camp was organized by the High Commission of India, Kampala.
