Public Notice

As on date more than 2500 Indian nationals have been evacuated from Maldives since May 8, 2020 by four voyages of Indian Naval Ships and two Air India flights under Vande Bharat Mission of Government of India. Total evacuation including charter flights exceeds 3200. The High Commission has also announced manifests for two up-coming evacuations by Air India (Flight No AI 1206) on June 16 from Malé to Thiruvananthapuram - Bengaluru and Air India (Flight No AI 1208) on June 17 from Malé to Delhi. Manifest for Air India (Flight No AI 1208) on June 18 from Malé to Delhi- Bhubaneswar- Kolkata would also be announced shortly.

2.         It may please be noted that manifests are being prepared based on the data  base of the Indian nationals who have been registered with the High Commission, and  the most deserving cases are being given priority in preparation of the passenger manifests. For reasons of transparency and convenience of evacuees, these manifests are posted on public domain.

3.         It may also be noted that the High Commission has NOT authorized or commissioned any individual(s) or group(s) or organization(s) to solicit or organize evacuation manifests for Ship or Flight. Any information regarding any individuals or groups soliciting in the name of the High Commission or any High Commission Officials or indulging in any such activity for profiteering in the name of the High Commission or any other Government of India Institution(s) may please be brought to the immediate notice of the High Commission at email ID hc.malemea.gov.in or fscons.malemea.gov.in.  

4.         For the further benefit of Indians seeking evacuation, it is reiterated that private corporate organizations in Maldives may charter authorized Indian and Maldives aviation partners to operate chartered flights to India to evacuate their Indian employees as per rules laid down by Gov of India, in case they desire to do so. Groups of individuals can also organize such Chartered flights through authorized Indian and Maldives aviation partners.
